Oggi mi e’ arrivata la email di cui sotto dalla Segreteria. L’oggetto e’ plagio ossia appropriazione indebita  di un’opera altrui.

A farla breve dice che la copia di piu’ del  5% di un manoscritto causa l’ESPULSIONE dello studente dall’Universita’!!?!     La verifica di copia di un documento si fa’ facilmente utilizzando software disponibili gratuitamente online.

Dopo aver letto la email mi son ricordato di un articolo letto qualche tempo in cui secondo una ricerca in Italia tre studenti su quattro copiano la tesi di Laurea. Pensavo,  se in Italia applicassero la stesse regole che ci sono in Danimarca a quest’ora le Universita’ sarebbero desertificate !!!

For your information new rules have been laid down regarding disciplinary measures for students at the University.

Where plagiarism is involved, the case will generally be assessed according to the following:

• Gross plagiarism: If more than 5% of the examination assignment is an exact copy, or if more than 50% of the assignment includes other forms of plagiarism, the student will normally be expelled from the University.

• Plagiarism: If less than 5% of the examination assignment is an exact copy, or if 5-50% of the assignment includes other forms of plagiarism, the student will normally only be expelled from the examination.

Simple plagiarism: if the examination assignment includes other forms of plagiarism than exact copy to an extent of less than 5% of the response, a warning will normally be issued.

Qui le giornate si cominciano ad allungare a dismisura … fa’ buio verso le 1o e finalmente il tempo non e’ piu’ piovoso e ventoso come lo e’ stato fino a qualche settimana fa’.

Sto riscoprendo il piacere di andare in bicicletta viste le giornate soleggiate  e vedo che anche gli altri lo fanno con piacere. Questo video e’ molto significativo delle vita nelle strade qui in DK durante questo periodo.  Spettacolari le scene delle pale eoliche nel mare viste da Copenhangen nei primi secondi del pezzo.  Oltre alle pale eoliche si vedono nella foto anche dei grandi silos che contengono l’acqua calda che viene distribuita in citta’  per il riscadamento e come acqua sanitaria.

L’anidride carbonica e’ dai più’ riconosciuta come una delle principali cause dell’effetto serra e del conseguente riscaldamento del pianteta (Global Warming). Dico dai piu’ visto che alcuni scienziati pensano ancora che non ci sia alcuna correlazione tra CO2 e riscaldamento del pianeta.

Sul sito dell’azienda che gestisce i trasporti pubblici di una regione a nord della Danimarca  (Nordjylland) una volta entrati e’ possibile avere informazioni sugli orari degli autobus per spostarsi all’interno della regione. Basta mettere la localita’ di partenza e quella di arrivo, l’orario  e  il sito ti indica che autobus prendere da che bustop e a che ora … fino qua niente di nuovo. La cosa interessante  e’ la possibilita’ di sapere quanta CO2 in meno si e’ immesssa nell’aria utilizzando il bus. Nell’ immagine e’ possibile comparara le emissioni di CO2 col bus con quelle che si produrebberro utilizzando la macchina per lo stesso percorso.

Ora mi chiedo perche’ i servizi di trasporti pubblici di Milan , New York o anche Londra che sono comunita’ molto piu’ evolute e che inquinano di piu’ rispetto a una piccola regione della Danimarca non danno la possibilita’ di  fare questa verifica ?

It’s been snowing for two days now and all day today the city has been continually dusted with snow.
The bike lane snowploughs have been working overtime. You can hear them drone past late at night and they continue through the day. A fleet of small tractors are assisting them in keeping the bike lanes clear and salted.
Quite the logistical challenge, but it seems to run like clockwork. The mere fact that  hundred bicycles move around the city each day helps keep the bike lanes clear, too.
Cycling straight in the snow requires little change of style. Cornering requires concentration, but the past few days I haven’t seen anybody slip or slide or wobble, let alone anyone falling off.  Danes think that when it snows it is better to use the bicicle insted of using buses becouse maybe buses can get stuck in the snow. Actually I find out that the sound of bike riding on the snow  is very cool.

After reading many posts about why the slideshow in the previous post doesn’t work, I found out that it is not possible to publish Slide-show on WordPress even through Vodpod.  It is so strange that the best Blog platform cannot handle java code. I have uploaded some pics here , the rest is on my Flickr account.’

Ju is going back to China.  Although I’ve known Ju for only about three months, I feel as if I’ve known her all my life! She is the imagine of the fast growing China which is becoming more and more globalized.

When I first met Ju last year I thought she was much younger the how she really is but after listening to all the experiences she had, I realized that she was older then what she  looks.  She is one of those person that has overcome such a great difficulties  in her life but is still able to look at the bright side of  the life.

After making friends with Ju, you wouldn’t really be able to apprehend how talkative and humorous she is.  She likes to tell the stories of her life , her trips and her past experiences and while she tells those stories you actually have the impression that you are  also living the same experiences.

Once she said ” Sometimes you listen to  bad stories  from other people   but you don’t realize that maybe those experiences could happen to you”… Well , she  has expienced very harsh moments during her life allthough you could easily see how optimistic she was.

If you are feeling down, she could  cheer you up in a matter of seconds. When she smiles (which is pretty much all the time)  you can’t help but feel happy with her, I am yet to meet a person who is as optimistic as Ju.  She always cheers the home  up when she came from the office. Everyone who knows Ju will keep a good memory of her. Ju see u soon in China!

Una delle strade piu’ belle e antiche di Aalborg.

Il nome della strada significa la scuderia di cavalli probabilmente appartenuta al castello che si trovava nelle vicinanze.  nella prima meta’ del novecento questa strada era utilizzata come quartiere a luci rosse.

Camminando e’ possibile osservare gli interni ben arredati delle case e anche i suoi abitanti.  Qui la gente non si cura molto della privacy!
